Vikings Get Amazing News With Dalvin Cook Injury Update
By Max Staley

Dalvin Cook has been ruled out for the Minnesota Vikings' Week 6 clash with the Atlanta Falcons. But thankfully for the Vikings, it's looking like the groin injury will only cost him one week of action.
With Minnesota on bye in Week 7, Cook is reportedly viewed as a near lock to be active for Minnesota's Week 8 game against the Green Bay Packers.

While the team would surely like to have him active in Week 6, this is ultimately a big win for Minnesota. Alexander Mattison was fantastic while playing in relief of Cook in Week 5, turning 20 carries into 112 rushing yards, adding another 24 yards on 3 catches.
Mattison should be able to hold down the fort while Cook is out against Atlanta. Plus, having Cook back for a pivotal NFC North game against Green Bay is a boon for Minnesota, as the Vikings will almost certainly need to be at full strength to compete in that one.
