Former Clemson star wide receiver Tee Higgins was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals with the first pick of the second round in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Bengals will hope that Higgins can someday replace A.J. Green as the premier receiver on their roster, teamed with rookie Joe Burrow under center.
Higgins put up over 1,100 yards receiving in his Junior season at Clemson before being drafted, and no one can doubt the athleticism of this young man. Check out this dunk video from high school if you have any questions.
Tee Higgins High School Basketball Dunk Video
The ability to dunk a basketball has less relevance in the NFL, sure, but the athleticism and hand skills it takes to accomplish this move are nothing to sleep on. For starters, Higgins has an awesome vertical leap, and hang-time is necessary on a dunk like this. His 9.25-inch hand size with precision touch and movement are also features to look out for in this video.
Finally, there is the general clutch factor. Some athletes have it and some don't, but Higgins makes a between-the-legs dunk look easy. Cincinnati should hope his touchdown catches come off the same way.
