Saquon Barkley's 2018 NFL Rookie of the Year campaign was spectacular. However, the play that best showed his talent came in a Week 13 game against the Chicago Bears.
This play was an astonishing display of strength, speed, and elusiveness. Barkley juked out the Bears' defense three different times on the play and then powered his way to a 22-yard gain. Barkley totaled 125 yards on 24 carries in this game.
When you remember that this Bears' defense was the best in the league at the time and only allowed 3.8 yards per carry, Barkley's insane run gets even more impressive. That play on 3rd-and-23 also eventually set up a Giants' field goal at the end of the half.
Each week, he wowed Giants fans and the public by averaging 5.0 yards per carry and tallying over 2,000 all-purpose yards. Despite some injury struggles, Barkley still had a productive 2019 and is our No. 2 running back in our 2020 preseason fantasy football rankings.
