Trick plays and arguably more exciting overtime rules are two of the biggest factors in what help make college football so special.

Combine those two things together into a single play, and there's bound to be some action. Well, this was the exact case in this Michigan State vs. Notre Dame classic.

As the Spartans lined up to kick what appeared to be a game-equalizing field goal to send this one into its second overtime, everyone but the MSU bench was likely looking forward to another set of OT possession.

However, the MSU coaching staff had different plans, and decided to bust out this beautiful trick play and fool the Notre Dame defense completely for a wide-open touchdown.
