New York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom is one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball. Through six seasons in the MLB, deGrom has posted a career 2.43 ERA.

But arguably his most impressive all-around game came in 2019, when he pitched against the Miami Marlins to the tune of 14 strikeouts before absolutely whacking one out of the park at the plate.

The Mets only won this one, 6-4, so it's safe to say deGrom practically won this thing single-handedly for New York in hindsight. deGrom's 14 strikeouts that day also proved a season-high mark on the 2019 campaign.

The three-time MLB All-Star and two-time NL Cy Young winner is surely itching to get back on the mound as soon as the MLB makes it return following delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
