Chase Utley quickly endeared himself to Philadelphia Phillies fans thanks to his tough, hard-nosed play style. Few plays showed that more than this insane home-plate collision he put on Chicago Cubs catcher Dioner Navarro back in 2013.

Trying to leg out the play at home plate, Utley puts a massive hit on Navarro. Miraculously, though, Navarro manages to hang on through the play. Navarro would have to leave the game after this hit, however.

Utley was a unique player during his time in Philadelphia, as one of the few true sluggers to play second base. He racked up five All-Star appearances during his time with the team, and will always remain a Phillies legend.
