There are a lot of new things that NBA players, fans and even broadcasts will have to try and get used to this season. From something as major as no fans and no home-court advantage all the way to not having your own home team's franchise logo on the court.
Well, the New Orleans Pelicans attempted to help normalize this new neutral setting by superimposing their own franchise logo onto the court under the basket and just outside the paint, but it looks like we're going to have a few growing pains with more areas than expected playing in the bubble this season.
While this is far from a disaster, it is funny to watch the Pelicans logo fade in and out on the court during their offensive possession on the broadcast. This is especially funny when you take a moment to realize the players have absolutely no idea that this is going on either.
There's almost certainly bigger things on the priority list this season than fixing in-game signage for broadcasts, but at least we can appreciate this blunder while it lasts.
