The Seattle Mariners aren't expected to create too many waves in the MLB's shortened 2020 60-game season, but prospect Kyle Lewis just might.
That's an opposite-field moonshot off the bat of Lewis, who just turned 25 years old last week. The former 2016 first-round pick (No. 11 overall) is expected to start this season, and Mariners fans are hoping for a breakthrough campaign.
In 18 games last season, Lewis batted .268 with a .592 slugging percentage. He hit six homers over that stretch, with 13 runs batted in. Not terrible by any means, but Seattle has big expectations for the young outfielder.
One complaint from last year was that he didn't display enough raw power. Well, this right here was brute force. Lewis crushes this ball into the right-field stands, and in turn, MLB and fantasy owners alike should take notice. Lewis is definitely a player to watch in 2020.
