Philadelphia Eagles fans rejoiced when general manager Howie Roseman swung a deal to acquire wide receiver AJ Brown during the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The Pro Bowl talent has wasted no time getting to work with his new team and is already catching passes in an Eagles jersey.

Philadelphia Eagles News

The Eagles posted a video of Brown running a short out route and making the catch on their Twitter account Thursday morning. While it may have been a quick 10-second clip, it was more than enough to give the fan base a glimpse into what it'll be like to see No. 11 making an impact on fall Sundays.

Brown now gets to unite with one of his best friends in quarterback Jalen Hurts. The two NFL pros started building a friendship years ago when Hurts attempted to get Brown to join him at Alabama out of high school. Getting to throw to Brown as well as DeVonta Smith has to make Hurts excited.

The former Ole Miss standout has been nothing short of dominant throughout the his first three seasons in the league. Brown has racked up 2,995 yards and 24 touchdowns on 185 receptions in 43 games played so far. His 16.2 yards per catch mark only goes to show how elusive he can be.

The Eagles will lean on Brown to help improve an offense that posted the fourth-fewest receiving yards in the NFL last season (3,585). For now, Philadelphia has odds set at +240 to win the NFC East division and odds set at +3500 to win Super Bowl 57, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
