Former lightweight titleholder Vasyl Lomachenko will return to the ring on June 26 for the first time since 2020 to face off against Masayoshi Nakatani.

The fight is set to take place Virgins Hotel in Las Vegas and be available to stream on the ESPN+ app. It will be contested over 12 rounds in the Lightweight division, which means the weight limit will be 135 pounds.

FanDuel Sportsbook has released the opening odds for this exciting showdown.

Lomachenko vs Nakatani Odds

Vasyl Lomachenko has opened as a massive -2000 favorite, while Masayoshi Nakatani is a +1040 underdog.

Lomachenko previously held three of the four major lightweight belts before he was defeated by Teofimo Lopez via unanimous decision in October of 2020. The 33-year-old boxer is ranked as the No. 8 pound-for-pound fighter in the world by ESPN and enters with a pro record of 14-2 (10 KOs).

Nakatani also had a fight end in defeat at the hands of Lopez back in July of 2019, but is coming off an upset victory over Felix Verdejo last December. He fought back from some early struggles to win that clash via a knockout in the ninth round. The 31-year-old boxer enters this matchup with an all-time record of 19-1 (13 KOs).
