Two weeks into the season, and the road to the NBA championship still goes through Los Angeles. Despite movement up and down the list, the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers remain the two most likely to win the NBA title, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Currently, the Clippers have +350 odds, despite sitting at third in the Western Conference with a 6-3 record. Much of this can be attributed to their performance with and without Kawhi Leonard this season. When Leonard is in the lineup, the Clippers are 6-1 and winning by a margin of almost nine points per game. Without him, when he's out due to load management, they are 0-2 and have lost by an average of almost 10 points per game.

Close behind the Clippers are the top team in the West – the Lakers. At 6-1, LeBron and Co. are undefeated since losing to the Clippers on opening night. Led by LeBron and Anthony Davis, the Lakers sport one of the best defenses in the league, allowing the fourth fewest points per game at 101.1.

Notably, the top team in the Eastern Conference to date has been the Boston Celtics. Despite their hot start and 6-1 record, they still sit at +2500 odds, behind both the Milwaukee Bucks (+550) and the Philadelphia 76ers (+600).

Through two weeks, it appears that the teams we thought would dominate this year are doing just that and remain the favorites to take home the Larry O'Brien Trophy at season's end.
