This year's March Madness has been one of the more thrilling NCAA Tournaments in recent history. One of the biggest surprises of the tournament has been the East Region's No. 8-ranked UNC Tar Heels making it all the way to the Final Four.
UNC has overcome a lot of adversity so far, but do the Tar Heels have what it takes to go all the way and win their first National Championship since 2017? FanDuel Sportsbook's latest odds shed light on the situation.
UNC National Championship Odds
UNC currently has +500 odds to win the National Championship, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, putting them at the bottom of the remaining teams.
Having said that, the Tar Heels are no strangers to overcoming the odds lately. While No. 9 Marquette and No. 15 Saint Peter's were lower seeds, UNC has also defeated No. 1 Baylor and No. 4 UCLA to get to this point, so only time will tell if they have two more upsets in them.
UNC will go one-on-one with the No. 2 Duke Blue Devils in a Final Four matchup on Saturday. Although the Blue Devils are the higher seed and the 4-point favorite, UNC did defeat Duke, 94-81, in their most recent meeting on March 5.
The UNC vs Duke Final Four matchup will air on TBS at 8:49 p.m. EST on Saturday, April 2 live from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
