Kansas City Chiefs' fans as well as fantasy football managers will not be glad to hear that Tyreek Hill missed practice on Wednesday due to a hamstring injury. Hamstring injuries tend to linger and that proves to be true here as Hill has been battling this since last week.
The Chiefs take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday as they attempt to maintain the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Whether or not the team will have their No. 1 receiver healthy and playing is yet to be seen.
Tyreek Hill Fantasy Outlook
Simply put, Hill has been unstoppable this season. He ranks No. 5 in the NFL with 1,211 receiving yards and has scored at least 1 touchdown in 11 of his 14 games played this season. Plus, he remains quarterback Patrick Mahomes' go-to option in the passing attack as he has seen double-digit targets in five of his last six games.
Head Coach Andy Reid said they are taking Hill's status "day to day" at this point, but he did reiterate that he believes Hill will be able to play on Sunday. This is a perfect matchup for Hill as the Falcons' defense has given up the second-most yards to opposing wide receivers in the NFL this season (2,871).
If you are in your fantasy football championship and roster Hill, he is a major reason why you have gotten this far. Do no think about sitting him if he does suit up. Just make sure you have a backup option ready to go in case he ends up missing this week's game.
