Tyler Lockett appears to be in real danger of missing the Seattle Seahawks' Week 11 game against the Arizona Cardinals. He's now missed back-to-back practices due to a knee issue, and he's running out of time to get healthy as this one will be played on Thursday night.
There's still nothing concrete about his availability quite yet, so Wednesday's practice will go a long way in determining his status. But if he's out, David Moore (5% rostered in Yahoo! leagues) instantly becomes an intriguing pickup.
David Moore Fantasy Outlook
Moore has flashed some real potential this season. Though he's mainly been playing a limited role, seeing less than 60 percent of the snaps in eight of nine games, he's averaging a stellar 15.1 yards per reception and has found the end zone four times.
His 11.4 yards per target has him tied for the fifth-best mark in the league alongside Julio Jones and puts him right ahead of his teammate DK Metcalf (11.3).
Speaking of Metcalf, a matchup with Cardinals' CB Patrick Peterson does not bode well for him. Peterson erased Metcalf in Week 7, holding him 2 catches for 23 yards.
If history repeats itself, Russell Wilson could be forced to funnel a ton of targets Moore's way, assuming Lockett sits. After all, Lockett did see 20 targets (for 15 catches, 200 yards and 3 TDs) in that Week 7 game.
Moore obviously won't come anywhere close to those numbers. But he's been remarkably efficient this year, so the likely uptick in volume could lead to a monster day if Lockett can't suit up.
Fantasy managers will need to closely monitor Seattle's practice reports until Thursday's kickoff.
