Jaguars Odds to Draft Trevor Lawrence Skyrocket Following Jets Week 15 Win

The race for the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft got even more interesting in Week 15. The New York Jets, who had the top selection all but locked up, beat the Los Angeles Rams, giving them their first win of the season. The Jacksonville Jaguars, meanwhile, lost to the Baltimore Ravens.
Week 15's results have placed Jacksonville and New York in a tie for the worst record in the NFL at 1-13, but because the Jaguars have a weaker strength of schedule, so they will get the top pick if both teams are tied at the end of the season.
The outcome from Week 15 has caused the Jagurs' odds in a FanDuel Sportsbook prop bet regarding who will draft Clemson star QB Trevor Lawrence to skyrocket.

Trevor Lawrence Jaguars
Jacksonville is now the favorite to draft Lawrence at -430. The Jets' win has caused them to tumble to second place at +280. It's a two-horse race according to the odds, as the third-place Denver Broncos (+2200) trail by an almost insurmountable amount.
The Jaguars will face the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts to conlude their season, while the Jets will face the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots.
Trevor Lawrence Jets
For the Jets to land Trevor Lawrence at this point, they need the Jaguars to win one more game than they do. That means if the Jets go 0-2 to close the season, they'd still need the Jaguars to win one of their two remaining games. If the Jets do the unthinkable and score another win, they would need the Jaguars to win out.
Jacksonville and New York look headed for loss No. 14 in Week 16, as FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds have both as underdogs by more than a touchdown in their respective games.
It's looking an awful lot like Trevor Lawrence will be heading to Duval County to start his professional career.
