Kelce himself called it a dream come true. Nine total football players and coaches have hosted in the past (10 if you count The Rock), so the star tight end will join some impressive company.
Kelce will be the first active player to host SNL since J.J. Watt did it on Feb. 1, 2020.
With his big and comedic personality, Kelce profiles as a great fit for an SNL host as far as athletes go. Be sure to tune in to NBC's legendary skit comedy show at 11:30 p.m. ET on March 4, as there will surely be some memorable moments caught on camera that night.
