Top Streaming Quarterbacks for Fantasy Football Week 4
By Max Staley

After some tough picks in Week 2, we bounced back with a strong showing in Week 3. All three of our streaming quarterback picks returned top-24 value, two had top-10 showings and one pick cracked the top five.
Now we'll try to stay hot heading into Week 4. Here are our top three streaming quarterbacks, rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues, to target in Week 4.
Streaming QB Week 4
3. Zach Wilson, New York Jets (11% Rostered)
Look, we're taking a chance. It's a pretty bad week for streaming QBs. Reliable options like Teddy Bridgewater, Daniel Jones and Jared Goff have really tough matchups. This spot came down to Zach Wilson vs. Jimmy Garoppolo, and we're going with the rookie after Jimmy G let us down last week. Statistically, there aren't many arguments in Wilson's favor. He's been bad. But he's also quietly played elite defenses (the Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots). All three rank in the top-five in pass defense DVOA. Now, he gets a matchup with the Tennessee Titans (No. 22). He's also a 7.5-point home underdog, which means he'll likely be throwing early and often at home against a very beatable defense. Can Wilson finally show something? It's not as unrealistic as you might think. The floor is as low as it gets, but if you need upside, Wilson might be your man.
2. Sam Darnold, Carolina Panthers (22% Rostered)
Next up is the man who Wilson replaced: Sam Darnold. Darnold has been awesome this year, currently ranking as the QB12 in standard leagues. Expect him to stay hot in Week 3. Darnold will face the Dallas Cowboys, who are allowing top-12 fantasy production to opposing QBs and the second-most passing yards (995) in the NFL. Christian McCaffrey is also out, so we could be getting a heavier dose of Darnold than usual. He's a great target this week.
1. Taylor Heinicke, Washington Football Team (6% Rostered)
Taylor Heinicke has finished as a top-12 quarterback in both of his starts this year. He now gets to face the Atlanta Falcons, which should mean big things for his Week 4 value. Atlanta has allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season, checking in as the seventh-worst passing defense by DVOA. Look for another strong showing for Heinicke, who has delivered a strong showing every time we've seen him take the field. He narrowly edges out Darnold as the top pick of the week, but Darnold is probably the safer option of the two.
