Top Streaming Quarterbacks for Fantasy Football Week 15 & Fantasy Playoffs
By Max Staley

If you're in the fantasy football playoffs, it's never as simple as just trusting the guys who brought you here. That's especially true at quarterback, where matchups and game flow can really dictate performance. With Lamar Jackson banged up, and guys like Russell Wilson and Joe Burrow dealing with tough matchups, plenty of fantasy managers may turn to the waiver wire for an upgrade.
Fantasy Football Playoffs Advice
If you need some help at QB this week, here are three of the best streaming options, rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo fantasy leagues, to target in Week 15.
Fantasy Football Streaming QBs Week 15 Fantasy Playoffs
4. Honorable Mention: Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints (51% Rostered)
Taysom Hill just barely misses the cut off for this list, but he'd be the top streamer of the week were he eligible. He's been fantasy's QB3 in his two games as the Saints' starter, trailing only Tom Brady and Justin Herbert.
3. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins (34% Rostered)
Tua Tagovailoa has really come alive lately. He's had a passer rating above 104.0 in three straight weeks, completing a blistering 80.0% of his passes for 747 yards with 5 touchdowns to 1 interception during that span. He's also put up at least 17.5 points in two of those three. Tua should have no problem raising the bar in Week 15. He'll take on a New York Jets' defense that surrenders the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing QBs, an NFL-high 30.5 points per game and is the league's worst pass defense by DVOA. Everything lines up for Tua to have a big game on Sunday.
2. Justin Fields, Chicago Bears (19% Rostered)
Justin Fields has a slight edge over Tua this week because of his upside, but he's admittedly a riskier option. He might not be as risky as you think, however. Fields has finished with at least 18 points in each of his last three healthy outings, including a 25-point outburst in Week 8. His rushing output of late gives him a pretty high floor and a massive ceiling. The rookie is averaging 7.6 carries for 74.0 rushing yards per game in that time. With a little more touchdown luck, he could be in line for a big-time performance. And quarterbacks have had no problem getting lucky against the Vikings this season, as Minnesota is surrendering the fourth-most fantasy points to the position. If you can stomach the risk that comes with starting a rookie, Fields is an excellent outside-the-box option.
1. Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers (30% Rostered)
Believe it or not, Jimmy Garoppolo has been the fifth-best quarterback in fantasy since Week 8. He's got a very high floor, having scored at least 15.4 points in six of those seven games. And his matchup gives him a huge ceiling in Week 15. Jimmy G will take on the Atlanta Falcons, who surrender the second-most fantasy points to opposing QBs. He faced the Chicago Bears, who surrender the third-most fantasy points to the position, back in Week 8 and posted a season-high 27.3 points. Garoppolo is a safe bet with a huge ceiling, which is exactly what you want in a streaming option. Jimmy G also gets a Week 17 date with the Houston Texans, making him someone to hold onto if you do add him.
