It's getting harder and harder to find high-upside tight ends to pick up off the waiver wire as the NFL season rolls on. Many of the rising stars at the position are beginning to graduate from being borderline plays to clear-cut starters.

Nevertheless, there are still a few names out there worth keeping an eye on. Here are the top-three streaming tight ends, rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues, to target in Week 8.

1. Jared Cook, Los Angeles Chargers (44% Rostered)

It's surprising to see Jared Cook qualify for this list given the consistent production he has been putting up this season. The veteran tight end currently ranks as the TE16 in PPR scoring leagues and has seen 7 targets in two of his last three games played. It is clear that quarterback Justin Herbert trusts Cook in the passing attack and that should continue in Week 8. Keep in mind that Cook is averaging a healthy 3.5 receptions per game, which is really solid volume for a tight end. He remains a viable starter going forward.

2. Evan Engram, New York Giants (31% Rostered)

Evan Engram finally came to life in Week 7 due to the lack of depth at the wide receiver position of the New York Giants. The Pro Bowler hauled in 6 of his 8 targets for 44 yards. That is the most targets he has seen all season and Engram has a great chance to replicate his success in Week 8. The Kansas City Chiefs are allowing the fifth-most PPR fantasy points to opposing TEs and have posted the second-worst pass defense DVOA rating in the NFL. Look for head coach Joe Judge to lean on the passing attack on Monday night, which bodes well for Engram's fantasy value.

3. CJ Uzomah, Cincinnati Bengals (20% Rostered)

The best TE fantasy performance of Week 7 came from CJ Uzomah of the Cincinnati Bengals. The seventh year pro racked up 91 yards and 2 touchdowns on 3 receptions. It was the second time this season that he scored 2 touchdowns in one game. Uzomah has posted an impressive 89.5% catch percentage this season, which suggests that quarterback Joe Burrow is getting him the ball in open space. He draws a great matchup in Week 8 facing a New York Jets' defense that is giving up the seventh-most PPR fantasy points to the position. Fantasy managers looking for help at the tight end position should put in a waiver claim for Uzomah this week.
