Few defenses are true every-week starting options in fantasy football. That's why "streaming" the position, picking defenses off the waiver wire as needed every week, can be such a useful strategy.

Here are our top three defenses, rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues, to target as streaming options in Week 15.

Fantasy Defenses to Stream Week 15

3. New England Patriots (at MIA)

The New England Patriots offense has been a bit of a mess, but the defense is still playing reasonably well, allowing the NFL's seventh-fewest points per game (21.5). Tua Tagovailoa hasn't looked like anything special at the NFL level yet, and he's also suffered 3-plus sacks in three of his last five games. The Patriots' 27.4% pressure rate ranks No. 3 in the NFL, and they've got a good shot to rack up a few sacks in this one.

2. Tennessee Titans (vs DET)

The Tennessee Titans' impotent pass rush has been a real shot to their fantasy value this year, but even they should be able to offer some upside this week. As 10.5-point favorites according to FanDuel Sportsbook's Week 15 point spreads, they'll likely be forcing the Detroit Lions into plenty of obvious passing situations, which tends to lead to more sacks and turnovers.

1. Cleveland Browns (at NYG)

We're making an exception here — the Cleveland Browns are rostered in 51% of leagues, but if they're an amazing target this week. Not only do they have a plus matchup against the New York Giants in Week 15 (making them a top-five D in our Week 15 fantasy rankings), but they also get the best matchup possible for the fantasy championship, taking on the New York Jets in Week 16.
