Defensive scoring in fantasy football depends more on weekly matchups than maybe any other position. There are very few true, every-week starting options out there, and all but the absolute worst defenses can be worth using if they're in the right matchup.

Every week there are plenty of defenses worth starting that are available on the waiver wire, and it pays to be vigilant in keeping up with the best weekly plays at the position.

With that said, here are the top three fantasy football streaming defenses for Week 11, all of which are owned in fewer than 50 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues.

3. New York Jets at Washington Redskins (30% Owned)

The New York Jets' defense quietly ranks 10th at the position with an average of 7.8 fantasy points per game on the season. That scoring has been inflated some by their four touchdowns (third in the NFL), but any risk of a decline on that front is balanced out by a solid Week 11 matchup. The Washington Redskins have allowed the NFL's fifth-highest sack rate (9.1 percent) and will start rookie Dwayne Haskins at QB. Haskins has thrown four interceptions with no touchdowns, giving up eight sacks in 52 drop backs so far this season.

On the other side of that game, Washington is a slight 1-point favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook. Sam Darnold has had serious struggles of his own, as the Jets' 12.1 percent sack rate is the second-highest in the NFL and 14.7 percent of their drives have ended in turnovers (10th-most in the NFL). They're allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses, and that gives the Washington D a slight edge in a matchup with two viable streaming options.

1. Oakland Raiders vs Cincinnati Bengals (34% Owned)

Another primo matchup for defenses, the Bengals' 17.7 percent turnover rate is the fourth-highest in the NFL, and they're allowing the 11th-highest sack rate. Cincinnati has also given up the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses. The Oakland Raiders' defense isn't great, allowing 26.7 points per game, but they've still managed to offer fantasy value in the right matchups. They just dropped a season-high 17 fantasy points in Week 10 and have scored at least six fantasy points in four of the last six games. A matchup this good should allow them to keep rolling, and they sit seventh among defenses in our Week 11 fantasy football rankings.
