Top 12 Fantasy Football Defense Rankings for Week 11

Defenses are sometimes left as an afterthought in fantasy football, but Week 10 served as another reminder as to just how important they can be. Anyone who got 16 points out of the Las Vegas Raiders can attest to that.
With that in mind, here are our fantasy football defense rankings for Week 11.
12. Kansas City Chiefs (at LV)
11. Cincinnati Bengals (at WAS)
10. Green Bay Packers (at IND)
9. New England Patriots (at HOU)
8. Baltimore Ravens (vs TEN)
7. Cleveland Browns (vs PHI)
6. Washington Football Team (vs CIN)
5. Minnesota Vikings (vs DAL)
This isn't the dominant Mike Zimmer-led Minnesota Vikings' defense we're used to seeing, but it isn't bad either, ranking No. 15 in Football Outsiders' Defensive DVOA metrics. They should benefit from a matchup with a dreadful Dallas Cowboys' offense that's turning the ball over at the highest rate in the league (19.6%). That should give Minnesota a really high ceiling in this one.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs LAR)
3. Los Angeles Chargers (vs NYJ)
2. Miami Dolphins (at DEN)
The Raiders' ineffective defense just had the top score at the position last week thanks to a matchup with Drew Lock and the Denver Broncos. Lock's decision making has been horrendous, taking 10 sacks and throwing 10 interceptions since returning from injury in Week 6. Things could get a whole lot worse in a hurry against a Miami Dolphins' defense that ranks No. 4 in takeaways (15) and No. 6 in QB hits (62). The Dolphins are the No. 4 overall defense in fantasy thus far and look poised to add to that in Week 11.
1. Pittsburgh Steelers (at JAX)
The Pittsburgh Steelers are fantasy's No. 3 overall defense thanks to an incredible pass-rushing unit and an opportunistic secondary. The Steelers rank No. 1 in the NFL with a pressure rate of 32.8%, and no other team is even as high as 26.5%. Pittsburgh is also tied for No. 2 in the league with 11 interceptions. Facing sixth-round rookie QB Jake Luton, who has 2 INTs and 5 sacks through two starts, the Steel Curtain should be flat-out dominant on Sunday. Plus, Pittsburgh is likely to be playing with a lead, as 10.5-point favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook, so the Steelers should have plenty of chances to rack up sacks and turnovers.
