The Tennessee Titans won the AFC South for the first time since 2008 last season. Even though they were eliminated in the Wild Card round, they're looking to continue their success into the 2021 NFL season. The good news is that it's looking like third-year wideout A.J. Brown will be in full health to help Tennessee achieve that goal.
The Titans announced several injury placements on Saturday and, fortunately, Brown was not one of them. Some feared that the 24-year-old could miss time after not practicing at all this offseason, however, he didn't end up on either the PUP or NFI list. In other words, he should be good to go for the start of training camp on Tuesday.
A.J. Brown Injury Update
A second-round pick in 2019, Brown has posted back-to-back 1,000-yard performances in his first two seasons. During that span, he's recorded 112 receptions for 2,216 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns.
There's also the potential that Brown could have another big performance in 2021 after the Titans acquired former Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones earlier this offseason. Jones is a five-time All-Pro wideout, which means he could take a lot of the opposition's attention away from Brown and vice versa. If everything works out how Tennessee hopes, both players could see monster years.
The Titans will need Brown to stay healthy and at the top of his game if they hope to go on a championship run this season. Tennessee currently has +2800 (11th) to win Super Bowl 56, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
