This NFL offseason hasn't had any shortage of drama, especially when it pertains to wide receivers. Trade rumors have materialized due to several young and talented wideouts looking for a pay raise in the next few years, with the latest buzz surrounding Tennessee Titans WR A.J. Brown.

Titans general manager Jon Robinson was asked about the possibility of trading Brown during the team's pre-draft press conference on Thursday. It doesn't look like parting with the star wideout is on his mind, as Robinson replied to the rumors by saying, "I do not foresee that happening."

Robinson elaborated, adding that the Titans have made it clear to Brown "how we feel about him and how much he means to this football team." He added that the two sides have been in communication, which is something that should comfort the fanbase.

"We've had some discussions with [Brown's] reps. [Brown] was here a couple of weeks ago and I talked to him. We're working through that."

Derrick Henry might be the straw that stirs the drink in the Titans' offense, but it's clear that the passing game would be fairly dry if they were forced to move on from Brown.

The 24-year-old WR dealt with injuries last season that prevented him from being his best. Even though his 869 receiving yards in 13 games were a career low, they were still 393 more than the next-best player on Tennessee's roster.

Brown has been absolutely money since being drafted by the Titans in 2019. He's since recorded 295 receptions in 43 games, racking up 2,995 yards (including back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in 2019 and 2020) and 24 touchdowns (T-10th-most during that span).

The Titans are currently in a three-way tie at +2700 odds (T-No. 13) to win Super Bowl LVII, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. As long as Brown is in a Titans uniform come September, they'll have a fighting chance of going on a championship run.
