The Tennessee Titans have all the momentum in the world after jumping up to the No. 1 seed in the AFC following their Week 17 blowout win over the Miami Dolphins. Things are only looking up and it's possible that they could get their star running back Derrick Henry healthy in time for the playoffs.

Derrick Henry Injury Update

This is about the best news the Titans could've been hoping for given how severe Henry's foot injury originally looked. Reports claim that the sixth-year pro has been impressive in his rehab over the past two months following surgery, which cannot be overstated for a running back that relies on his feet.

In fact, Tennessee head coach Mike Vrabel said the team could be looking to activate Henry's three-week window to return as early as Wednesday. Obviously, the sooner Henry is able to be on the practice field with his teammates, the better.

The two-time Pro Bowler was the focal point of this offense before going down and on pace for another historic season. Henry had racked up an NFL-high 937 rushing yards to go along with 10 total touchdowns through the first 9 games of the year and was averaging 4.3 yards per carry.

It's safe to say that Henry cannot be ruled out for a return in the divisional round of the playoffs. The Titans are sitting pretty and simply need a Week 18 win over the Houston Texans to lock down a first round bye. The rest of the AFC needs to watch out because Tennessee is only getting stronger.
