This Darren Waller Quote Will Get Raiders Fans Hyped for 2020 Season

Darren Waller was one of the breakout stars of the 2020 NFL season. He put up a 90-catch, 1,145-yard season during his first season as the team's full-time starter. Waller's even a burgeoning star with his music.

And he apparently feels confident that the Raiders' offense will be much improved heading into the 2020 season. During an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio, Waller shared a quote that will surely get Raiders fans hyped for the upcoming campaign.

I don’t feel like having a top-five offense is out of the picture. We have that much talent. We have guys who are buying in. We have a balanced system. I have high expectations, and I think everyone on the offense would say the same thing.

Of course, it's important to take this comment with a grain of salt, but it's obviously a good sign.

The team does have quite a ways to go, however. Last season, the Raiders averaged 19.6 points per game (PPG) tied for the ninth-worst total in the league. With another year in Gruden's system, and key additions like Henry Ruggs and Bryan Edwards, the Raiders should be much more explosive in 2020.

But they still have a long way to go if they hope to make good on Waller's claim.
