The Philadelphia Eagles find themselves in need of a new head coach after parting ways with Doug Pederson. Some notable names are believed to be in the running for the job, including Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

However, Dallas should not let Moore talk with the Eagles, despite their request to speak with him.
Philadelphia will need Dallas' permission to have a conversation about the role with Moore, and they have zero incentive to okay any interview.
Re-signing Moore as the team's offensive coordinator was a huge win for Dallas this offseason, especially considering his work with quarterback Dak Prescott. With the star QB on the mend and a top pick in the draft, Dallas has reason to optimistic about next season, so letting Moore have the chance to leave would throw a wrench in their rebound hopes for 2021.
Moore is a rising coaching talent and could possibly find himself as a candidate to replace Mike McCarthy if the team struggles again next year. Between Moore's role in the development of Prescott and his potential head-coaching future, there's absolutely no reason for Dallas to help out their hated division rival.
