Terrace Marshall Fantasy Football Outlook Includes Sleeper Potential in 2021 Rookie Season

Terrace Marshall is flying under the radar right now. But the Carolina Panthers rookie has the potential to make some real noise in the 2021 campaign. A second-round pick, Marshall was widely believed to be a first-round talent, though injury concerns caused him to slip in the 2021 NFL Draft.
And he's now poised for a surprisingly big role on the Panthers' offense.

Terrace Marshall Fantasy Outlook
Marshall currently carries an average draft position (ADP) of WR72, per FantasyPros. Essentially, he's either going undrafted or is just an end-of-draft flyer. But there's reason to believe he could be a lot more.
As mentioned above, Marshall was a true first-round talent. He scored 23 touchdowns over his last two collegiate seasons in a total of just 19 games played.
And the 6-foot-3 wideout looks poised to secure the No. 3 role in Carolina. We still don't know how valuable that will be, as Sam Darnold is at best a question mark heading into year four. But this is the most talented offense he's ever played with, and the combination of Matt Rhule and Joe Brady is far better than anything he ever had with the New York Jets.
Likely to play out of the slot a lot, Marshall could be a real threat for this team right away. And that's especially true in the red zone. Carolina doesn't have a scary red-zone threat at tight end. DJ Moore and Robby Anderson both primarily work as deep threats. It's not hard to envision Marshall carving out a red-zone role right away.

Still, there's no reason to go crazy. Marshall is a smart gamble toward the end of your draft, but he's little more than a flyer off the bench.
Keep a close eye on him at the start of the season, though, because there's definitely some real potential here.
