Since the Dallas Cowboys and starting quarterback Dak Prescott could not agree on a long-term contract this offseason, Prescott enters this season on a one-year deal under the franchise tag.

He also enters the season with an abundance of talent around him at nearly every offensive position. Long story short, no excuses. However it appears Prescott is as focused and committed as ever entering the season, at least according to Cowboys VP Stephen Jones.

The Cowboys front office exec revealed Prescott has been working out in person this offseason with all of his star-studded receiving corps. And according to Jones, that skill-position group could be special this season.

Chemistry with your wide receivers is crucial. While he has already proven to work well with Michael Gallup and Amari Cooper, Prescott getting some early reps in with rookie CeeDee Lamb is paramount.

All signs point to this offense being ready to hit the ground running in 2020.
