The Pittsburgh Steelers will have to be firing on all cylinders if they want to stop the Buffalo Bills' offense from marching up and down the field in Week 5. The good news is that the defense will be close to full strength, as it was announced on Friday that Minkah Fitzpatrick and Cameron Heyward will both be suiting up on Sunday.

Pittsburgh Steelers Injury News

Both Fitzpatrick and Heyward returned to practice in a full capacity on Friday. The former has been dealing with a knee issue, while the latter has been playing through a bit of pain in his ankle and elbow.

Having Fitzpatrick available to patrol the secondary and deal with the likes of Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis is a massive boost for Pittsburgh. The 25-year-old has logged 32 tackles, 4 pass breakups and 3 interceptions this year, including a pick-six.

Heyward's presence along the defensive line cannot be understated, either. The 12th-year pro entered this season with an impressive 43.0 sacks since the start of 2017. Across five games in 2022, Heyward has logged 16 tackles (2.0 for loss), 1.0 sack, 1 pass breakup and 1 fumble recovery.

While the Steelers seem to have caught a break on the injury front, the same thing cannot be said for their opponent. The Bills will be without several key pieces on Sunday but are still favored by 14 points at home on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
