Sony Michel looked to be in a great spot in Week 14, facing a Kansas City Chiefs' defense that has really struggled to stop the run. Coming into the week, Kansas City was the league's third-worst defense against the run, according to Football Outsiders' DVOA rankings, and the Chiefs had surrendered the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs.

Despite having what looked to be a great matchup, Michel was held to just nine yards from scrimmage on six touches against KC.

Having such an ineffective game in what looked to be such a good matchup makes Michel really tough to trust going forward.

That being said, the New England Patriots will play the Bengals in Week 15, and Cincinnati has struggled to stop the run this season. The Bengals have surrendered the seventh-most points per game to opposing RBs, and Cincinnati is No. 27 in Football Outsiders' rush defense DVOA rankings.

Michel has a really low floor on a weekly basis, but the matchup with Cincinnati does give him some upside in Week 15.

He'll likely be a boom-or-bust option this week, but Michel won't be a recommended play in Week 16, when the Patriots face the Buffalo Bills.
