Starting at 12:35 p.m. ET, we have 12 races Sunday at Saratoga. Using
numberFire’s projections as a guide, here are some of the best bets to make at FanDuel Racing.

As always, check the program at "The Spa" for scratches and changes, and monitor the weather and track conditions.

(I will reference Equibase's Speed Figure in selected races, which tells you how fast a horse has been running in each of its races -- adjusted for track, distances, and conditions).

According to numberFire Racing's projections, these are the best bets to make at FanDuel Racing today.

Race 7 is a Maiden Special Weight for 2-year-old fillies at 1 1/16 miles on the turf. The top two choices according to the numberFire data are Avant (6/1) and Free Look (3/1). Irad Ortiz, Jr. won another jockey title, and he's riding Avant.

Avant makes his debut for top trainer Todd Pletcher with higher expectations as a son of amazing sire Uncle Mo. Free Look finished third in her debut five weeks ago at this distance as the favorite, and just in front of Freydis the Red (9./2). La Mazel (5/1) has appeal, and he made a nice move into contention in the upper stretch last race before flattening out.

2. Timbuktu and Catch That Party, Race 9

FanDuel Racing Odds: 6/1and 2/1

Race 9 is an Allowance Race for NY-breds at 1 1/16 miles on the turf. The favorite Catch That Party (2/1) is the top pick of numberFire. He has a deep closing style which took him to victory last race. Frank's Art (5/2) suffered a narrow loss last race.

Timbuktu (6/1) ran well this summer for EPO trainer Brad Cox, but got a bad trip last race running wide and figures to improve.

3. Wonder Wheel and Just Cindy, Race 11

FanDuel Racing Odds: 3/1 and 5/1

Race 11 is the $300,000 Spinaway Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at 7 furlongs. This is a talented field of 10 juvenile fillies, and the numberFire algorighm shows Wonder Gal (3/1) on top of stakes winners Naughty Gal (8/1) and Just Cindy (5/1). Wonder Wheel has a jockey change to Tyler Gaffalione.

Wonder Wheel goes for her third win in a row. She's viable on the front end again with wonderful action, according to Top Race Reports East Coast Handicapping Report.

The ECHR also likes Just Cindy, ridden by Luis Saez. She's won both her starts showing the ability to relax. Just Cindy is a really good looking runner sired by Triple Crown winner Justify.
