The New Orleans Saints have enjoyed winning two of their past three games since Taysom Hill took over at quarterback for an injured Jameis Winston in Week 13. Unfortunately, the Saints received some terrible news around their QB depth chart on Thursday.

Hill was placed on the COVID-19/reserve list on Thursday and New Orleans is already preparing for a different starting quarterback ahead of Monday night's Week 16 clash against the Miami Dolphins.

Reports suggest that the Saints will prepare rookie Ian Book to start on Monday night against the Dolphins. Book will be the fourth different quarterback to earn a starting nod thanks to various injuries and COVID-19 issues.

In his last two seasons at Notre Dame, Book racked up 1,031 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. However, he's yet to throw an NFL pass after being selected in the fourth round of this past year's draft.

New Orleans is currently projected as a slim 1-point home underdog for Week 16's clash on FanDuel Sportsbook. There's a distinct possibility that line continues to move in Miami's favor leading up to Monday Night Football.
