The Kansas City Royals have cooled off after a hot start to the 2021 MLB season, but there's still other sources of excitement for fans, like top prospect Bobby Witt Jr. While the highly touted young shortstop hasn't gotten his call up to the majors yet, he's providing plenty of highlights in the minors.

And Witt Jr. had a truly massive game on Sunday.

The 20-year-old SS went off for three home runs in a Double-A game on Sunday. That pushed him to 7 HRs on the year along with 13 RBIs across 22 games.

Witt Jr., the son of former starting pitcher and World Series champ Bobby Witt, has long been considered one of the most promising prospects across the league, and Sunday's showcase was another reason why.

The former No. 2 overall pick could play himself into his long-awaited call up if he keeps crushing homers like he did last game.
