Best Remaining Destinations for Richard Sherman in Free Agency
By Max Staley

While most of the big-name free agents are off the market by now, there are still plenty of gems to be had. One such name is five-time Pro Bowl cornerback Richard Sherman, who should still generate a ton of interest even as he approaches his 33rd birthday.
Here are three of the best remaining free-agent destinations for the future Hall-of-Fame corner.
Richard Sherman Rumors
3. Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers are quietly building an emerging young defense. With Brian Burns and Derrick Brown looking like future stars upfront and Jeremy Chinn making plays at safety, cornerback feels like one of Carolina's biggest needs. Sherman would step in and immediately become this team's top corner, and the Panthers have more than enough money to pay him.
2. Cleveland Browns
Sherman could be the final piece to take this unit over the top. The Cleveland Browns made a great under-the-radar addition by signing John Johnson at safety, but GM Andrew Berry could still stand to add help at CB. Denzel Ward is a bonafide star at the position. If the Browns add a vet like Sherman, and see real development from youngsters like Greedy Williams and Grant Delpit, Cleveland's secondary could be elite in 2021. This team already has Myles Garrett wreaking havoc upfront, so shoring up the secondary could give Cleveland a legit, Super Bowl-caliber defense.
1. Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders have a glaring need in the secondary, and Jon Gruden hasn't exactly been quiet about his interest in Sherman. Some even went so far as to call Gruden's comments tampering. Regardless, Sherman would help this franchise in 2021 and can also mentor the team's promising young corners, like Damon Arnette and Trayvon Mullen. This move makes sense on a lot of levels.
