Red Sox News: Boston Calling Up Top Prospect Jarren Duran

The Boston Red Sox enter the second half of the season in great position. Their 55-36 record has them up 1.5 games on the Tampa Bay Rays for first place in the AL East and tied for the best mark in the entire league.
They could use a boost to make sure they start the second half strong, and they're getting one by calling up top outfield prospect Jarren Duran.

Jarren Duran Call Up
Duran was originally a seventh-round pick by Boston in 2018. He finally made it to Triple-A in 2021 and made sure to seize the opportunity. He's hit 15 home runs with 32 RBI in 46 games so far while slashing .270/.365/.561.
Duran's arrival will bring some serious pop and fresh legs to a lineup that's already one of the league's best. The Red Sox have averaged 5.10 runs per game this season, which is the fifth-highest mark across the majors.
Bosotn currently owns the sixth-best odds to win the World Series at +1200, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
