Rayjon Tucker Stats

Not many small-school players are getting much recognition from NBA scouts, but Rayjon Tucker seriously deserves some time in the limelight. The 21-year-old guard was outstanding at Arkansas-Little Rock last season, averaging 20.3 points per game, 6.7 rebounds per game and 1.1 steals per game while shooting an impressive 41.1 percent from beyond the arc.

Tucker is a freak athlete and is at his best on the offensive end of the floor. However, he's not without his faults. The guard can be as tenacious of a defender as any player on the court, but his defensive motor is not as consistent as scouts would like to see. He may also need to improve as a passer if he wants to carve out an important role on his team at the next level.

It's also worth noting that while his name is in the NBA Draft, he can return to school as a grad transfer and has committed to the University of Memphis.

Rayjon Tucker NBA Draft Predictions

- Golden State Warriors (No. 58), Toronto Raptors (No. 59)

Going to a team that has made the NBA Finals in five straight seasons could definitely be a nice landing spot for Tucker. He could develop on a championship squad and would add another 3-point shooter to the Warriors' already lethal roster.

While Kawhi Leonard is definitely Toronto's biggest worry in free agency, the Raptors could also lose their depth at guard if Danny Green, Patrick McCaw and/or Jeremy Lin decide to skip town. Tucker is by no means a starting-caliber guard, but he could provide excellent depth at the position. His ability to shoot the three could also go a long way in finding him meaningful minutes, if he does remain in the 2019 NBA Draft.
