The Baltimore Ravens kept their preseason win streak record going in Week 1, all without quarterback Lamar Jackson. Tyler Huntley got the starting nod, while Anthony Brown took over in the second half before handing off to Brett Hundley near the end of the fourth quarter.
Ahead of their Week 2 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, head coach Jim Harbaugh has revealed his starting QB plans.
Jackson will once again take a seat and let the backups get important reps. It's very possible the 2019 MVP doesn't suit up at all this preseason, especially as seeks out a long-term contract extension.
Baltimore's backups looked solid in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans. Huntley completed 16 of 18 passes for 109 yards and 1 TD during the first half. Brown followed him with 10-for-15 passing and 117 yards. Hundley completed his two passes for 42 yards, but he also lost a fumble right after the fourth-quarter two-minute warning.
The Ravens will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday against the Cardinals. NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook favor Baltimore (-230) to defeat Arizona (+190).
