The AFC North rivalry between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns has been incredibly one-sided, with the Ravens leading the all-time series, 31-11. However, the two split the meetings last season, with the Browns' Week 4 win being the catalyst to the Ravens' dominant 12-game win streak.
With both teams coming into 2020 with something to prove, their meeting should be one of the more exciting Week 1 games to watch. FanDuel Sportsbook already has odds released for the matchup, along with dozens of others for the season.
The Ravens opened as the heavy 8.5-point home favorites over the Browns.
Browns vs Ravens Spread Week 1
The Ravens exceeded expectations in 2019, finishing the season with an NFL-best 14-2 record. The Browns, on the other hand, underachieved across the board, going 6-10 despite having preseason Super Bowl aspirations.
The Browns underwent significant changes this offseason. Most importantly, they named Kevin Stefanski as the new head coach. The team also drastically improved their offensive line, which should bring big help to both the passing and rushing attacks, hoping to give the offense the consistency it lacked in 2019.
After being the most dominant regular season team last season, the Raven improved even more this offseason. They brought in front seven players in order to stop the run, which ended up being their demise against the Tennessee Titans in the playoffs. Baltimore also added more backfield talent, hoping to dominate opponents on the ground yet again this season.
All of the Week 1 odds will undergo plenty of changes before kickoff in September, but for now, the odds view the Ravens as a dominating team yet again, despite Cleveland's improvements this offseason.
