Ravens Get Bad News With Lamar Jackson Injury Update
By Larry Rupp

Every game down the stretch is crucial for a Baltimore Ravens team that is fighting to secure a playoff berth this season. That is what makes waiting for updates regarding quarterback Lamar Jackson that much harder. The Pro Bowler remains unlikely to play on Sunday as he works through an ankle injury.
Earlier in the week, the Ravens did not expect Lamar Jackson to be able to play Sunday, and he still might have a tough time doing it, per sources. But Jackson was moving around better in practice this weekend, raising some hopes - however unlikely - he could make it back.

Lamar Jackson Injury Update
Jackson has been able to practice in a limited fashion during the past week, but this type of injury can be tough for a rushing quarterback. The Ravens' starter regularly plants his feet in order to make cuts and bursts when he scrambles out of the pocket. That can't be easy to do with a bone bruise.
It's notable to point out that Jackson has never missed a game due to injury across his four-year- career. He cannot be counted out until that final injury report is released prior to kickoff against the Green Bay Packers, and the latest report continues to cast doubt on his Week 15 availability.
Backup Tyler Huntley would draw his second career start if Jackson cannot suit up.
Huntley played well against the Cleveland Browns in Week 14, completing 27 of his 38 pass attempts for 270 yards and 1 touchdown. He also added 45 yards on the ground. The former Utah Ute would have a tough task ahead of him given the Packers are allowing the sixth-fewest total yards per game in the NFL (323.6).
Baltimore will attempt to stay atop the AFC North division and pull off a home upset in Week 15. The Ravens are currently slated as 7-point underdogs against the Packers, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
