Fantasy football is a game of matchups. There aren't a ton of players who are "must-start" options each and every week. Fantasy owners are often faced with tough decisions on who to start and, more often than not, a player's matchup is going to be one of the deciding factors.

Here's how every team's matchup stacks up for fantasy football purposes heading into Week 8 of the 2019 NFL season.

Note: The Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys are on bye weeks and are unranked for Week 8.

30. Miami Dolphins (at PIT)

29. Washington Redskins (at MIN)

28. Cincinnati Bengals (at LAR)

27. New York Jets (at JAX)

The New York Jets don't get an easy matchup this week, but it's also not nearly as tough as the one they had on Monday against the New England Patriots. We shouldn't expect droves of scoring, but Le'Veon Bell, Jamison Crowder and Robby Anderson could all be in for bounce-back performances.

26. Carolina Panthers (at SF)

25. Cleveland Browns (at NE)

24. Chicago Bears (vs LAC)

23. Denver Broncos (at IND)

22. Philadelphia Eagles (at BUF)

21. Arizona Cardinals (at NO)

20. New York Giants (at DET)

19. Los Angeles Chargers (at CHI)

18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (at TEN)

17. Oakland Raiders (at HOU)

The Houston Texans defense has quietly made for a great fantasy matchup this season, allowing the sixth-most PPR points per game to QBs, the 15th most to RBs and the third most to WRs. The Oakland Raiders' offense isn't that exciting for fantasy purposes, but Josh Jacobs and Darren Waller are both must starts here. Although, Derek Carr is a viable streaming option and Tyrell Williams will offer plenty of upside if he suits up.

16. Jacksonville Jaguars (vs NYJ)

15. Buffalo Bills (vs PHI)

14. Tennessee Titans (vs TB)

13. San Francisco 49ers (vs CAR)

12. Atlanta Falcons (vs SEA)

11. Indianapolis Colts (vs DEN)

10. Detroit Lions (vs NYG)

9. New Orleans Saints (vs ARI)

8. Kansas City Chiefs (vs GB)

7. Green Bay Packers (at KC)

6. Pittsburgh Steelers (vs MIA)

The Miami Dolphins' opponents continue to find themselves consistently among the NFL's most appealing fantasy football offenses. The Pittsburgh Steelers have disappointed with Mason Rudolph and Devlin Hodges at the helm for most of the year, but they should have no trouble turning things around this week. James Conner is an elite RB play if he's healthy, JuJu Smith-Schuster could finally flash some of the upside he showed off last year, and Rudolph is a top streaming QB option.

5. Minnesota Vikings (vs WAS)

4. Houston Texans (vs OAK)

3. New England Patriots (vs CLE)

2. Seattle Seahawks (at ATL)

1. Los Angeles Rams (vs CIN)

After thrashing the Atlanta Falcons for 37 points last week, things don't get much tougher for the Los Angeles Rams here. The Cincinnati Bengals are allowing the NFL's second-most yards per play and the eighth-most points per game. For the second straight week, the Rams place a QB, RB and WR in the top-10 in their respective positions in our PPR fantasy football rankings.
