Fantasy football is a game of matchups. There aren't a ton of players who are "must-start" options each and every week. Fantasy owners are often faced with tough decisions on who to start and, more often than not, a player's matchup is going to be one of the deciding factors.

Here's how every team's matchup stacks up for fantasy football purposes heading into Week 7 of the 2019 NFL season.

Note: The Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on bye weeks and are unranked for Week 7.

28. Miami Dolphins (at BUF)

Ryan Fitzpatrick taking back over as the Miami Dolphins' QB really doesn't make a difference for fantasy football purposes. The NFL's worst offense against one of the top defenses means you'll want to avoid starting any Dolphins against the Buffalo Bills.

27. Washington Redskins (vs SF)

26. New York Jets (vs NE)

25. Cincinnati Bengals (vs JAX)

24. Oakland Raiders (at GB)

23. Tennessee Titans (vs LAC)

22. Chicago Bears (vs NO)

21. New Orleans Saints (at CHI)

20. Denver Broncos (vs KC)

FanDuel Sportsbook has this matchup as a surprisingly close one, with the Denver Broncos sitting as only three-point underdogs on Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. Joe Flacco still isn't a strong play, but the Broncos offer two solid fantasy options at both RB (Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman) and WR (Courtland Sutton and Emmanuel Sanders).

19. Los Angeles Chargers (at TEN)

18. Detroit Lions (vs MIN)

17. Philadelphia Eagles (at DAL)

16. Baltimore Ravens (at SEA)

15. Houston Texans (at IND)

14. Minnesota Vikings (at DET)

13. Arizona Cardinals (at NYG)

12. Indianapolis Colts (vs HOU)

11. San Francisco 49ers (at WAS)

10. Jacksonville Jaguars (at CIN)

9. Atlanta Falcons (vs LAR)

8. New York Giants (vs ARI)

The New York Giants may be getting Saquon Barkley back this week, and Evan Engram looks to be nearing a return as well. The Arizona Cardinals play at the fastest pace in the NFL, leaving plenty of opportunities for opponents to rack up fantasy scoring. You can feel good about starting just about any of the Giants' skill position starters, especially in PPR formats where the increased pace should give volume receivers a big boost.

7. Green Bay Packers (vs OAK)

6. Buffalo Bills (vs MIA)

The Bills come off a bye week into the best matchup around, taking on a Dolphins team that has given up the most points and yards per game in the NFL this season. The Buffalo offense has been a low-scoring unit in 2019, but this matchup puts their skill position players across the board in play in Week 7.

5. Seattle Seahawks (vs BAL)

4. Dallas Cowboys (vs PHI)

3. Kansas City Chiefs (at DEN)

2. New England Patriots (at NYJ)

1. Los Angeles Rams (at ATL)

The Los Angels Rams struggled in a brutal matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6, but this week should be a very different story. The Atlanta Falcons rank only 29th in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA rankings, giving up top-three fantasy production to opponents at both QB and WR. There are Rams players in the top-10 at QB, RB and WR in our Week 7 PPR fantasy football rankings.
