Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs missed the team's 31-28 overtime win against the Miami Dolphins in Week 3 with an ankle injury — his second inactive game in a row.

On Saturday, Las Vegas received an injury update on their No. 1 rusher and it might not be what fans wanted to hear. Jacobs is officially listed as questionable for the Monday Night Football matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Jacobs did practice throughout the week, although, it was in a limited capacity. It sounds like Las Vegas' lead back will be a game-time decision depending on how pregame warmups go.

If Jacobs does miss another game, the Raiders are hoping that Peyton Barber can play just as well as he did against Miami. The veteran RB rushed the ball 23 times for 111 yards and a touchdown while also catching three passes for another 31 yards in Week 3.

Barber's performance was the best he's looked in years, but it remains to be seen if that was a one-off showing or if he's about to experience a career resurgence.

Regardless, any Raiders running back who plays against the Chargers should have a great day. Los Angeles is surrendering the most rushing yards per game (170) this season, so the opportunity is there — whether that's for Jacobs, Barber or even Kenyan Drake.

The Raiders are +148 underdogs ahead of their Week 4 matchup while the Chargers are favored to win at -176 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
