Heading into the second round of the fantasy football playoffs, it is becoming even more important to keep an eye on the waiver wire. Finding that diamond in the rough or key handcuff could be just the thing to put your team over the top.

There is a multitude of good options out on the wire this week, but you will need to drop some players in order to make a pickup. At this point in the season, it strictly comes down to who is producing and who is not.

With that in mind, here are three players you can drop to make room for additions on the waiver wire in Week 15.

1. Hayden Hurst (68% Rostered)

Tight end Hayden Hurst started the season off looking like a fantasy starting tight end, but has simply disappeared in the Atlanta Falcons' offense recently. Over the last four weeks, Hurst has seen 17 targets, but has caught just 6 of them for a combined 64 yards. Plus, he hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 6. Hurst has been held under 10 receiving yards in three of his last four games and is simply not producing enough to be started in the fantasy football playoffs. With a number of other tight ends suddenly emerging as starting options, Hurst is droppable this week.

2. Matt Ryan (85% Rostered)

Here we have another Falcon struggling to produce an kind of fantasy relevant performance. Quarterback Matt Ryan has now had at least one turnover in each of his last six games and hasn't thrown for over 300 yards since Week 7. Ryan has an offense full of weapons, but can't seem to get anything going. In fact, he hasn't scored more than 20 fantasy points in a games since back in Week 9. A reliable quarterback is a key part in winning your round 2 matchup and Ryan has been anything but reliable lately. Drop him this week to find a better option at the position.

3. Giovani Bernard (65% Rostered)

After starter Joe Mixon went down, many fantasy football managers were quick to pick up running back Giovani Bernard as he was set to take on a larger role. However, he just hasn't done anything positive with his opportunity. Since his 2-touchdown performance in Week 8, Bernard hasn't reached the end zone or racked up over 55 total yards in any game. He had a perfect matchup last week against one of the worst run defenses in the NFL (Dallas Cowboys), but put up 23 yards on 6 touches and, most worryingly, played just 24% of the offensive snaps. While it is tough to cut a starting running back, it's difficult to even consider Bernard a starter right now.
