Quick Lane Bowl Predictions

Bleacher Report
Jake Rill, of Bleacher Report, gave his predictions for every bowl game against the spread, and he predicted the Panthers would win this game and cover up to a 10.5-point spread.

Washington Post
Neil Greenberg and Matt Bonesteel of the Washington Post also gave their predictions against the spread when the line was at 10.5 points. Both experts were in agreement, picking Pittsburgh to cover and giving the Panthers an 88 percent chance to win outright.

Adam Rittenberg, senior writer at ESPN, expects this game to be closer than the previous three experts. Rittenberg predicts the Eagles will cover the 11.5-point spread as underdogs, but ultimately lose the game, 27-20.

Overall, three of the four experts highlighted above are going with Pittsburgh to win by at least 10.5 points, while one expert predicts Eastern Michigan to keep the game within seven points and cover the spread as an underdog.
