Every once in awhile you come across stats in the NFL that will make you do a double take after reading them for the first time.

And the latest stat to surface in the wake of Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll team's 38-25 win over the Atlanta Falcons on the road in Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season certainly fits that bill.

That's right, you didn't read that record backward. The Seahawks, are in fact an undefeated 8-0 against opponents in games where Seattle's defense has allowed a quarterback to toss for more than 400 yards. Especially when talents like Matt Ryan throw for 450 yards and two touchdowns.

While, of course, this could be largely attributed to nursing a healthy lead with prevent defense, such as Sunday's 19- and 20-point leads at different points in the fourth quarter. However, that's not the be all end all of this stat either.

At the end of the day, going a perfect 8-0 against opposing QBs with more than 400 yards is simply remarkable.
