The New England Patriots defense put up another quality fantasy football output in Week 5 during the team's 33-7 win over the Washington Redskins.

New England Patriots Defense Fantasy Points

While the defense didn't put up a huge fantasy week like it did in Week 2 (37 points) or Week 4 (25 points), a 14-point output ranked the Patriots as the No. 2 fantasy defense behind only the 35-point output of the Philadelphia Eagles' defense.

That was tied with the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Chargers, but those two teams needed a touchdown to pull off their output.

How Many Fantasy Points Did Patriots Defense Get

A 14-point fantasy week keeps the Patriots as the No. 1 fantasy defense and special teams through five weeks, mostly because the Eagles only had 15 total points through four weeks.

With an interception, a fumble recovery and six sacks, the seven points against the Patriots accrued was enough for New England to rack up its fifth straight double-digit fantasy output (14 points) of the season.

Look for the Patriots to remains a D/ST1 on Thursday night against the New York Giants to kick off Week 6.
