Patrick Mahomes gave the Kansas City Chiefs quite the scare after he came up in a ton of pain before halftime of the Super Bowl. It's well known that Mahomes was nursing a severe high-ankle sprain this postseason, but he fought through the pain and eventually led KC to its second title in four years.

Mahomes addressed the injury in his MVP press conference following the win over the Philadelphia Eagles, and it sounds like he'll be just fine this offseason.

Mahomes jokingly said the only thing that will be hurt by this ailment is his golf game. Mahomes is notably a solid golfer and has participated in various offseason events, including The Match.
The important thing is Mahomes seems like he will be in perfect health for the Chiefs by the time he needs to be later this summer. Kansas City is already the early favorite to win the Super Bowl next season at +600, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
