The Pittsburgh Steelers added a pair of playmakers with their first two picks in the 2021 NFL Draft, including RB Najee Harris and TE Pat Freiermuth. Last year's offense was underwhelming, especially considering all of the weapons on the roster, and the Steelers attempted to correct this with young talent.

Both Harris and Freiermuth could play significant roles in Pittsburgh's offense next year. Freiermuth is confident in this projection and enters with some big expectations for his rookie season.

For a rookie TE, Freiermuth's confidence is exactly what Steelers fans will want to see. Recently, Freiermuth told Daniel Gallen of PennLive.com that "I think I can do it all." The Penn State product went on to discuss his versatility and ability to do "whatever’s asked, lining up at the fullback position or split out to that ‘X’ or ‘Z’ receiver."

Pittsburgh fans will happily welcome some added punch on offense. Last year, despite getting off to an 11-0 start, the Steelers finished with a bottom-10 offense in the league (334.6 yards per game). Freiermuth caught 16 TD and 1,185 yards during his three years at Penn State.

Entering next season, FanDuel Sportsbook still sees the Steelers taking another step back in 2021. According to the latest NFL odds, Pittsburgh has just +2100 odds to win the AFC title.
