The Green Bay Packers are going through it. After losing back-to-back games to the typically-terrible teams from New York (the Jets and Giants), the Packers have fallen to 3-3 on the year. Aaron Rodgers has been unable to find a reliable pass-catcher in the post-Davante Adams era, and the defense hasn't played as advertised.
Now, Green Bay faces a stretch of three road games against the Washington Commanders, Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions. With their season's outlook hanging on by a thread, the Packers made some notable injury announcements on Friday afternoon.
Green Bay Packers Week 7 Injury Updates
Green Bay officially ruled out a trio of offensive players for Sunday's tilt, including WRs Christian Watson, Randall Cobb and OL Jake Hanson.
Watson missed Week 6 of the season after dealing with ongoing hamstring issues. The team even considered shutting the rookie down to sort out the ailment, but that decision has not yet been made. Cobb played just 36% of the offensive snaps in Week 6 because of an ankle issue.
Hanson did not log a single practice this week because of a biceps issue. The backup offensive guard is simply a depth piece at the moment.
